Movies Worth to Wait: Burn After Reading

Directed by the Academy Award Winners Coen brothers, Ethan and Joel, the plot circles around an Ozzie Cox (John Malkovich), an ousted CIA official’s whose afraid of being fired puts his memoir into a disc. Accidentally the CD was left at a gym where two gym employees (Brad Pitt and Frances McDormand) intend to exploit it. Harry Pfarrer (George Clooney) who is assigned to recover the disc is also sleeping with Katie Cox (Tilda Swinton), Ozzie's wife.

The movie is scheduled to be hit the theatre on 12 September 2008. World-premiering as the opening-night film of the 2008 Venice International Film Festival scheduled on 27 August 2008, this movie falls under Comedy/Drama genre.

Principal filming took place around Brooklyn Heights, as the Coens wanted to stay in New York City to be with their families. Other scenes were filmed at Paramus, New Jersey, Westchester County, New York and Washington, D.C.

Filming began on August 27, 2007 and was completed on October 30, 2007
